✔ V – Visualize Your Next Steps → Success starts in the mind before it happens in real life. You have to SEE it before you DO it!

✔ O – Overcome Obstacles → Fear is a liar. Resistance is proof you’re on the right path. Push through!

✔ T – Take Action → Faith without works is dead. The SHIFT doesn’t work unless YOU move!

🚨 Hard Truth: If you try to shift on your own, your success rate is only 10-25%. If you tell someone about your need to shift, it jumps to 65%. But if you put structure, strategy, and accountability in place, your chances of success skyrocket to 95%! (Harvard Business Review)

💥 That means if you’re stuck, the BEST thing you can do today is put yourself in an environment that moves you forward—one that gives you the structure and support to PIVOT successfully!

I don’t say that lightly. I know what it’s like to feel like you're drowning in pain, invisible to the world, and unsure of how to move forward.

💔 My Story: When Everything Fell Apart

At the end of 2008, my world fell apart.

I suffered at the hands of an unknown in-home attacker. I was choked until my last conscious thought was, "God, I guess this is what it means to die." But I didn't die. By God's grace, I lived. I fought. I negotiated my way out of that horrifying attack. I had to PIVOT quickly, or I wouldn’t be here today to share my story with you.

But even after escaping that nightmare, the aftermath was just as cruel. My life spiraled into a deep pit of loss, devastation, and despair. I lost my home. My job. My income. My joy. My security. Everything that once defined me was stripped away. And with it, I felt like I had lost myself. I was walking through life like a hollow shell—trapped in my own personal Zombie Apocalypse.

🔥 My Breaking Point… & My Breakthrough

Until one day, something unexpected happened.

At my lowest moment, my son gathered up some loose change, walked to the store, and brought me back a simple microwavable cup of soup. I sat there, staring at the rising steam, empty inside. And then, as he held my hands and prayed over me, “Lord, please help my mother,” something inside me cracked. Instead of breaking down, I broke through.

I lifted my hands and screamed, "Lord, THANK YOU for this cup of soup!"

And then, I laughed.

Not just a small chuckle—but a deep, soul-shaking, uncontrollable laughter that burst through my pain and shattered the chains of despair. In that moment, God’s joy flooded me, and I knew I had a choice.

✔ I could stay stuck in suffering, or I could step into gratitude.

✔ I could let my pain define me, or I could let it refine me.

✔ I could give up, or I could PIVOT.

That moment was the birth of The Thankful Revolution. That moment taught me the power of one shift, one decision, one moment of gratitude to transform an entire life.
